Heart disease is
common in all breeds of cats. Some types of heart disease can be
detected in early stages by your local vet; however, others may
only be found by doing an echocardiogram. Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy
(HCM) is one type of heart disease that breeders are beginning to
test for on a regular basis. Here are two very good webpages describing
